** Fuel injected bikes do not have petcocks, nor do some carbureted bikes. Motorcycles without petcocks usually have a "low fuel" idiot light, which is equivalent to hitting reserve. Some have a car-type fuel gauge. *** The fourth setting on some petcocks (on the ZZR250, but not the Ninja 250, alas) is called Prime. This setting is detailed above.

This problem can besolved in one of two ways. For folks that might have another un-used Mikuni carbat hand, you can simply install a second fuel pump on to the rear carb, andinstall a pulse fitting into the rear crankcase to drive that added fuel pump. The other option would be to purchase a 15 gph fuel pump kit.
Aug 29, 2013 · Be careful not to drill too far through — or you could nick one of the rubber hoses behind the VTS housing. Some owners might not want to drill a drain hole, since the rubber gasket on the VTS housing implies that BRP designed the VTS housing to be “waterproof” against water outside the housing getting in.That might be true.
It does this weird bogging down thing where it gets to 15 mph and then if you push the throttle more than 3/4ths down it loses all power and goes to an idle. It acts like not enough fuel is getting to the engine to push it past 15 mph. I was wondering if any of y'all have had this problem and what you did to fix it.

I have the green seadoo Xp that starts, runs well for a while. But has the issue of burning through fuel extremly fast, and has the intermittent issue of dying from time to time. Rebuilt the carb but not sure what else it could be. Could be a simple fix, could be a carb adjustment thats needed. Don't have the time anymore as I have other projects.
